Daikin Aircon Red Light Blinking

How to find Daikin Aircon error code

Follow this simple 3-steps to troubleshoot Daikin aircon error code that you are encountering with your aircon remote controller. Before that, make sure that the indoor unit is blinking light. If your aircon indoor unit is not blinking, you will see a double zero error code, which simply indicates that there is no error.

U0 might also show up right after installation if some of the joints are not properly connected, or after a chemical overhaul service. To solve this issue, you can simply call your technicians to consult and rectify it. However, if U0 error code is showing up often, be mindful that it could be due to gas leakage, thus you might need an aircon pressure test.
Daikin Aircon Error Code U4
Daikin aircon error code U4 indicates communication error between the indoor unit and outdoor unit. These 3 parts that could possibly be malfunction:
1. Indoor PCB
If your Aircon unit is a multi-split unit, then there is a chance that the indoor PCB is defective provided that only one unit is showing U4. Do note that faulty indoor fan motor can also be the cause as it could result in indoor PCB malfunctioning. However for most of the time, U4 error code is triggered due to defective indoor PCB.
2. Wiring between Daikin Aircon indoor and outdoor unit
It could also be wiring is faulty if only one unit is showing U4, causing connection to be disrupted. If all of the units are showing U4, it is less likely to be this issue.
Daikin Aircon J3 Error Code
If you see a J3 Daikin aircon error code, it means that the outdoor thermistor needs to be replaced with a new one. This will need a further check to determine where the exact problem is at since there are multiple outdoor thermistors.
Daikin Aircon Error Code F3
If the Daikin error code is displayed as F3, it is telling you that the outdoor unit discharge temperature is too high, causing the outdoor ambient temperature sensor to malfunction. E7 Daikin Aircon Error Code
E7 Daikin error code simply means that the outdoor fan motor is malfunctioning and requires replacement.
A5 Daikin Aircon Error Code
This error code would be that there is a freeze up protection in one of the fan coil units. If the thermistor malfunctions or the unit is too dirty.
